Your final exam will be a presentation to the class. Your exam is 20% of your final grade.

 

Your presentation must be exactly 3 minutes long - 12 slides and each slide must be 15 seconds long. You will need to set the automatic timing in Powerpoint to accomplish this (directions below.)

 

Presentations will be delivered to the class on Friday, December 18th.

 

The following are things that could be included:

 

What did you learn in this class?

What was your favorite part of or what did you like about this class and why?

What did you dislike about the class?

What was your favorite tool you learned about in this class?

From this class, what do you think you could use in your other classes?

 

Requirements:

 

• NUMBER ONE: AS ALWAYS, BE CREATIVE!!!!!
• You will have 12 slides, each slide will be on screen for exactly 15 seconds.
  • Each slide MUST contain an image that pertains to the subject of your slide
  • Each slide may NOT contain more than 10 words, I want you to speak to your audience, not read to them
  • Comic Sans font MAY NOT be used
  • The sources for each image must be on final slide (13th slide that WILL NOT count toward your 3 minutes, this is for my purpose. Your citation must include the address (URL) to the image
• To set the automatic 15 second timer, click on Slide Show, select Slide Transition. In the Advance section, uncheck "On Mouse Click" and select "Automatically After", set this to 15 seconds. In the upper right, click on "Apply to All." This will set your slides to run automatically (which is required for the exam.)
• REMEMBER: YOU MUST HAVE AN ADDITIONAL SLIDE(S) LISTING THE URLS (ADDRESSES) FOR EACH OF YOUR IMAGES IN YOUR PRESENTATION. tHIS IS PART OF CONTENT PORTION OF YOUR FINAL EXAM GRADE

 

How the grading will work:

 

25% - presentation length

25% - content (relevant images, not too much text)

25% - organization (is the presentation easy to follow)

25% - delivery
